Since its founding in 1999, Preferred Hotel Reservations has positioned itself as the specialist in providing hotel accommodation for the business market. During the financial crisis of 2007, the Preferred team saw an opportunity to develop an innovative product that met a growing demand: the Room Kit. This tailor-made website gives conference participants access to room blocks in various hotels, significantly simplifying the organization of conferences.
Preferred has now firmly established itself in this niche market. The number of conferences using the Room Kit continues to grow, both in the Netherlands and internationally. For each conference, a unique online environment is created in consultation with the client. This may range from a PCO (professional conference organizer) to a professor, conference venue, or conference agency.
The Room Kit, developed in 2007, has proven its value at numerous national and international conferences. During the Dutch presidency of the European Union in 2016, Preferred was even selected to handle the accommodation for all delegations, thanks to the technological support provided by the Room Kit. This project ensured that the Room Kit meets the highest standards in technology and security.
In 2024, Preferred decided to develop a new application, building on the knowledge and experience of the previous system. We are proud to introduce the renewed Room Kit, an innovative online tool that makes booking rooms even easier, faster, and more secure.
